Delhi-based PCO and DMC, Conferences & Incentives Management (CIM), has started Association Management International (AMI), India’s first AMC (association management company).

CIM managing director, Mr Prashant Saha, told TTGmice: “We have observed with much concern the constraints many of our clients face in managing the activities of their associated business bodies. We could make a visible difference by helping achieve the objectives of such associations without any hold-ups.”

AMI plans to offer services to aid the efficient management of associations or bodies, consulting on strategic issues, development and execution of plans and systems for realising the associations’ objectives. Mr Saha said: “These will be complemented by services such as membership administration, information and standards management, public relations, communications and the management and execution of associated conferences and events.”

AMI entered into a strategic alliance with the Kellen Company, one of world’s largest AMCs, on February 29.

Mr Saha said: “Our target clients will be professional bodies, trade bodies, institutions, associations and chambers. We are enthused and driven by the prospect of the new company.”
