New venue management company targets Asia-Pacific Print E-mail

Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre: an Ogden managed venue.
A new US-Australia joint venture, AEG Ogden, anticipates a range of new venue projects in Asia-Pacific in the coming months. AEG Ogden was formed by the acquisition of Brisbane-based Ogden IFC by Los Angeles company, AEG.

Both are leading venue management companies in their respective regions.

Together, AEG Ogden operates 65 venues worldwide.

The new company will focus on China, India, South-east Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East and North Africa.

AEG Ogden plans to tap its combined experiences to leverage additional events into all venues under its portfolio.

At the same time, it said its collection of facilities could maximise sponsorship revenues, deliver high levels of guest services and provide capital to the whole network of venues.

Ogden operates several convention and exhibition centres in this region such as the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.

It has been appointed to run India’s DLF Delhi National Convention Centre, Australia’s Darwin Convention Centre and the Qatar National Convention Centre, all of which are still under construction.
